Dassault Systèmes CATIA basic installation part

VWGRCLite does not include any CATIA software supplied by Dassault Systèmes.
For the current VWGRCLite you need a CATIA basic installation consists of CATIA V5-6 R2022 SP03 and Hotfix 012.
The VWGRCLite requires a pre-installed CATIA V5-6R2022. The complete P2 or P3 installation media from Dassault Systèmes for CATIA V5-6 R2022 plus VX1 software, the Service Pack 03 and the Hotfix Level 12 must be installed. This basic installation is a prerequisite for the VWGRCLite.
The special VX1 software can be found at CATIA VX1 Software.
The necessary CATIA software (GA code, service pack and hotfix) can be obtained from your CATIA system house in charge. Volkswagen AG can't provide you with this software.
For the CATIA V5-6 installation, the specifications of Dassault Systèmes must be observed.
Notice: For VWGRCLite CATIA PLM Express is officially not supported by Volkswagen AG.

VWGRCLite

Please also refer to the VWGRCLite package pages for further information. Depending on the installed VWGRCLite packages, there may be additional requirements for your CATIA installation (e.g. special CATIA licenses).

License manager

DSLS (Dassault Systèmes License Server)
For the CATIA licenses (also the VX1) the DSLS is usually needed. The Software and additional information are available on the Dassault Systèmes website: (http://www.3ds.com/support-training/).
FlexNet
The VWGRCLite itself and most applications delivered with it (e.g. VALIDAT, NTool) are FlexNet licensed. The FlexNet software and documentation released by Volkswagen for this purpose can be obtained on the page FlexNet License Manager.

Methodical changes

Due to extensive changes of CATIA V5-6R2022 SP03 it can become necessary to adjust certain methodical processes.
All applications, macros, scripts must be checked for CATIA V5-6R2022 and adapted if necessary.
